Is Argireline (Hexapeptide-8) Worth the Hype?
Acetyl hexepeptide-8 most widely known by the trade name of Argireline is supposed to impart similar effects as botox.
My largest question has always been, with a molecular weight of 700 Da, is it possible for Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 to be absorbed past through the stratum corneum to a depth that is beneficial.
The CIR (Cosmetic Ingredient Review) Panel says no and the evidence is overwhelming EXCEPT for one outlying study...which was dismissed by scientists when determining Cosmetic Safety Assessment.
So I decided to conduct a small scale study on half of my face to determine if Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 could indeed make a noticeable difference on line depth and width on my face. The 8 week results were shocking.

    Why did you take vitamin C out? Don't they work together?

    • @Naturally-Kelly
      @Naturally-Kelly 13 днів тому

      @teachlearn130 Scientific principle. When testing products and actives, you NEVER mix them with other products. You want to see the effects and changes that the active or formulation is doing on its own. If you want to look for synergistic effects of two products, you need to know what each product is capable of 1st and then test both together.

    Design is nice for maintenance,,but how does it manages yaw motion,, because wiring is on one side,, this can cause breakage in wites

    • @Naturally-Kelly
      @Naturally-Kelly 24 дні тому

      Not an issue. Our turbine has slip rings so the wires never twist. We've looked at many turbines that do not use slip rings for wiring and I just would never recommend a turbine like that. Wire breakage is so common of an issue on those type.

      @@Naturally-Kelly i am not able to understand functioning of slip rings,, where is it and how does it work?

    • @Naturally-Kelly
      @Naturally-Kelly 23 дні тому

      @buddha2845 Slip rings are copper raceways that are complete circles that the base wiring attaches to. The wiring of the turbine head uses spring-loaded brushes that press against the copper raceway to make contact. This means the turbine head can spin freely 360 degrees while having full contact with the base wiring. You never have to worry about twisted wires. The brushes on the slip rings are similar to the brushes used on the armature of an electric motor - just used slightly differently. Most higher end turbines are built using this system of transferring power from the turbine head to the base wiring.

      LOL always how it goes. I know, we found a newer one at a second hand store for cheap. Bought it and the balls are plastic - not rubber. It lasted 6 months before it broke and was non repairable. We went back to using this one. I swear this one just keeps on going strong year after year. I wish you well on fixing yours.

      You bet. I found rolling it from the massage end toward the cord worked the best. So when you get it off, it should be inside out. Reinstalling works great the same way. Start with it inside out at the cord end and then roll it up from there so it's right side out when you are done.

    In Poland, I think the climate may be similar to Canada. How in practice I may store the straw after a farmer deliver to me? Not on the ground as it may start to rot. Try to cover the ground with some pallets? Then cover with some tarps? Initially I wanted a hempcrete. But the straw is cheaper and easier locally to get. The hempcrete is a mixture with lime. I do not mind use clay which I have my own. Now I worry about straw rotting. My sample rotted within couple of days. Before I commit to use it I want to master using light clay straw. Any advise welcome. Thanks

      So far so good. We had to replace the door sweep after the 1st winter and went with a little more expensive one. Other than that, extremely happy with how it turned out and is holding up. I was concerned being a solid core that it might be cold in the winter, but that wasn't an issue - much warmer than insulated steel so that was a pleasant surprise.

    I looked at a screen door this week, stiles were very narrow, and I would need to cut it down a bit to fit my opening, and the screen was shoved in with rubber spline, so I would not be able to finish the door without tearing out the screen and then putting a new piece of screen in.

    Great video. One comment, instead of unsoldering at the circuit board, cut wire in handle and soldier, if space will allow in the handle. Regards: Sud PS: one more comment about removing the rubber sleeve on the handle which was not easy to slide and remove. I used a heating pad to heat up the sleeve, it was then very easy to slide out.

      Yes, If they are using body washes, swapping out to an olive soap bar can help alleviate some of that irritation. Simple oils can help soothe and moisturize. Ultimately, finding out what is causing the flare is the best thing. A lot of times, it's diet or stress related.

    i used to have chronic fatigue too, if i over exerted myself i'd be bed ridden for days, and i had ibs at the same time causing all sorts of bad bathroom experiences. i figured out i was just intolerant to all plants and i had no idea because i was eating plants on the daily. while i was keto to help lose weight i found out about the carnivore diet and how it can help you figure out what your allergic to, or had problems with.. i had no idea is was basically all plants. I've been carnivore about 3.5 years now and i did some bio hacking protocols to up my good bacteria and introduce the strands of bacteria that kill and eat c. diff. and h. pilory. eventually my allergies to plants started to go away. I'm even able to have dairy again which I've been abusing. so, now what comes out the other end is small but normal. and my chronic fatigue is fully gone, i seem to have tons of energy especially the fattier the meat i eat is, the more energy i seem to have. it might be worth a try. good luck with whatever choice you both make.
